You’ll learn key multi-pitch techniques, including anchor-building, rope management, efficient belaying, route selection, and transitioning between pitches. By the end, you’ll feel confident managing the complexities of multi-pitch routes.
This class is designed for climbers with prior experience in lead and trad climbing. Familiarity with belaying and basic climbing techniques is essential, but the course accommodates various skill levels.
We provide essential group gear and can supply helmets, harnesses, climbing shoes, and ropes. However, bringing your personal gear, especially items like climbing shoes and a harness, can ensure the best fit and comfort.
Multi-pitch climbing requires endurance and comfort with heights. Climbers should be prepared for moderate to strenuous activity for extended periods. Prior physical conditioning and stamina are beneficial.
Safety is our top priority. Instructors closely supervise all aspects, teaching safe, reliable techniques tailored to each climber’s experience level, ensuring you build confidence progressively.
Our instructors choose locations based on accessibility, weather conditions, and the best educational opportunities for multi-pitch climbing, often within Colorado’s renowned climbing areas.
For safety reasons, our climbing locations are generally not spectator-friendly. Only registered participants can join the climbs, but we’re happy to capture photos to share the experience afterward!
If our course days are not convenient for you and you want to take them privately, please text us via the contact form.
