No prior experience is necessary! We offer guided tours and courses for all skill levels, including beginners. Our expert guides will teach you the basics of ice climbing, including techniques, safety, and gear usage.
We provide most of the essential group and personal climbing gear, including ropes, ice tools, crampons, helmets, and harnesses. You’ll need to bring personal items like a backpack, warm clothing layers, snacks, and water. Refer to our gear list for full details. Look for our Gear list above.
The ice climbing season typically runs from late December through April. Conditions are ideal during these months, with frozen waterfalls and stable ice formations.
Safety is our top priority. Our guides are certified professionals who ensure all equipment is properly fitted and follow strict safety protocols. While ice climbing has inherent risks, we take every precaution to minimize them.
Yes, children aged 14 and older can participate, provided they meet the physical requirements and are accompanied by an adult. We also tailor the experience to ensure it’s safe and enjoyable for younger climbers.
Ice climbing requires moderate to high physical effort, depending on the difficulty of the route. A good level of fitness is recommended, but our guides adjust the experience to suit your skill and fitness levels.
Dress in warm, moisture-wicking layers appropriate for winter conditions. Include a hard shell jacket, insulated gloves, a hat, and base layers. A full clothing list is provided above.
A full-day tour usually lasts around 6-8 hours, including travel to the site, gear preparation, instruction, and climbing. Half-day options may also be available.
